Monumentapolis Drawings

In the large drawing of Monumentapolis, I used different perspectives, and for the models, assembled and heterogeneous objects. There were references to various existing monuments and architectures, such as the Contemporary Museum of Theft, the creation of Nothing shops where you pay as much as you like but take nothing in exchange, the Liar’s Monument, and so on.
I was interested, but not only, in memorising the unforgotten, in reinitialising reality, in calling things by their name, which is just as utopian as the concept of the ‘nothing’.

It is a city that is formed by different points of view and includes hundreds of details of the city’s sights and Monuments next to a large, colourful scale model with assembled objects Illuminated by a video projection of the “guide to the city sights”. . The monumentapolis is not a fantastic city, does not refers to a future utopia, is a way to see our past and present.
